New Site Posting Daily Updates On if Eric Adams Has Been Arrested in FBI Probe

A new website is keeping New Yorkers up to date on whether Mayor Eric Adams has been arrested amid a federal probe into his campaign fundraising.

The website, https://hasericadamsbeenarrested.site, is posting daily updates about whether Hizzoner has been cuffed as a result of the FBI’s investigation into his 2021 campaign, which is trying to determine whether there was collusion with the Turkish government and others to funnel money into Adams’ mayoral effort.

“ERIC ADAMS STATUS: NOT ARRESTED,” the page read Saturday morning, along with a cheesy graphic of Adams behind bars.

“The FBI seized and made a copy of Eric Adams’s iPhone. This is the first time a 3-letter agency has cloned a New York City Mayor’s phone,” it notes in a Friday timeline entry.

“Aww man, what’s taking so long?” one X user wrote in response to Friday’s update that Adams was still out and about.

The anonymous user behind the X account NYC Bike Lanes told The Post they started the website, but didn’t immediately provide evidence or respond to questions about their reasoning for creating the page.

On Monday, Federal investigators seized Adams’ electronic devices, including at least two cellphones and an iPad.

Adams’ campaign attorney, Boyd Johnson, has said the mayor is cooperating with federal authorities and had already informed them a review determined “an individual had recently acted improperly.”

“In the spirit of transparency and cooperation, this behavior was immediately and proactively reported to investigators,” Johnson said in a statement.

The seizure of Adams’ devices came a week after FBI agents raided the home of his lead campaign fundraiser, 25-year-old Brianna Suggs, which prompted the mayor to abandon a slew of White House immigration meetings and head back to the Big Apple.

The investigators were specifically looking for proof that the campaign staff conspired with Brooklyn construction firm KSK and the Turkish government to use “straw donors” to illegally funnel foreign cash into his campaign coffers in exchange for favors, law enforcement sources have said.

A straw donor is a person or company that illegally makes a donation with someone else’s money, but uses their own name to hide its real source.

Neither the mayor, his staff, nor anyone else has been charged with any crimes so far. Adams has denied any wrongdoing.
